There is less than a week to go now! Don’t forget that if you want to take part in the interactive ‘life-writing’ workshops, places are limited and filling fast.  Check out the details HERE.

There’s also a competition ‘where in the world is my ereader?’ All you have to do is take a photo of your ereader in an ‘interesting’ location, add a caption and post it on the Facebook Page for all to drool over.  Wherever in the world you are and whatever in the world you are doing.

jomAnd while we’re talking about travelling, writer Jo Carroll is hosting a mini-break Travel Residency at the eBook festival From Friday 16th through to Sunday 18th at 8pm.  Jo has written three travel ebooks of her ‘adventures’ around the world and they are well worth a read.  Her residency slots should whet your appetite not only for travel but to read her writing.

If you don’t want to hit the high road, you can just have lunch with an author. We have author lunch slots at 12.30 every day with a range of writers telling you about their books and the inspiration behind them.  Writers attending include David Wailing, Roz Morris, Dennis Hamley, Mark Frankland, Jan Needle, Mike Schneider, Patric Morgan and Joan Barbara Simon.

And what would a book festival (even an ebook festival) be without some launches? We have trawled the internet for recently or soon to be launched ebooks and our launches include titles by Chris Longmuir, Dan Holloway, Mr If, Valerie Laws, Kirsty Eccles, John McGroarty and an author who goes under the name ‘Anonymous’.

And of course the festival OPENS with the official ONLINE LAUNCH of Stuart Ayris ‘Frugality Trilogy’ out from 12th August  in an omnibus edition.  And closes with Peter Tarnofsky’s new collection ‘Everything Turns out Just Fine.’  So from beginning to end there is a huge variety of authors to engage with – don’t forget to bookmark the site, like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter so that you don’t miss out a minute of the action.
